What is NLP?

"Neuro-Linguistic Programming(NLP) May Be The Most Powerful Vehicle For Change In Existence!" — Modern Psychology

Applying the tools of NLP, you will find ways of becoming more effective, efficient and passionate in all areas of life.

  • NLP helps you find out what you want and how you can get what you want.
  • NLP teaches you to communicate more successfully and create the right climate for success
  • NLP increases your sensitivity towards others body language and signals and teaches you to maintain good relationships with those close and not so close to you
  • NLP opens doors to hidden resources, improves your ability to concentrate, your ability to learn and paves the way for new possibilities
  • NLP changes your behaviour positively so that you can handle negative experiences and eliminate phobias, stress, guilty feelings and depression.

NLP (Neuro-Linguistic Programming) began in the early 1970s when two Americans, a mathematician called Richard Bandler and linguist John Grinder, posed the question:
"What is it that makes the difference between somebody who is merely competent at any given skill, and somebody who excels at the same skill?"

Bandler and Grinder studied the 3 most extraordinary therapists of their time: Virginia Satir, Milton Erickson and Fritz Perls, then built models of linguistic and behavioural patterns of them.

Bandler and Grinder named the process that they developed in the course of their work modelling, and it was the foundation of the body of knowledge that became NLP.

Masters of any field often cannot explain how they achieve such excellent results. This is because they are operating at the level of unconscious competence. As a result, it's very difficult for them to teach their skills to someone else.

NLP techniques allow you to "break down" masterful performance into its component elements: strategies, beliefs, physiology and more.

NLP presupposes that the behaviour of an individual can be changed by use of the specific language and by constantly updating and upgrading an individuals "mental software". You can then change, adopt, or eliminate behaviours as you desire.

It provides you with skills and ability to choose your mental, emotional, and physical states of well being at any time. You learn how to improve your communication skills, internally and externally. This transforms your relationships, outcomes and a better quality of life.

This is a profound set of tools for use in both personal and professional development.

NLP is a synthesis of a number of disciplines and offers a systematic means of achieving consistently outstanding results across a broad spectrum of human experience. more information...
